Last year Lenovo announced the successor of the Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro, the Yoga 3 Pro. Lenovo reduced the weight and made it thinner but due to this they also reduced the performance of the device. Many users were not very happy about this change and it seems like Lenovo heard the feedback from their customers.
The upcoming Lenovo Yoga 900 will come with the new Intel Skylake CPU (I think the same as in the upcoming Surface Pro 4). Furthermore the device will have a QHD+ display, up to 16GB RAM, 256/512GB SSD storage, JBL speakers, Intel 801.11 AC wireless network. The high-end device will have an USB Type-C port. The battery is 50% bigger than the one of the Yoga 3 Pro. These improvements need space so that the Lenovo Yoga 900 will be a bit heavier and not so thin as its predecessor. Unfortunately it will not have support for the Windows Hello camera.
In general you can say that the device is a completely high-end device. I think that the hardware will be very similar to the hardware of the upcoming Surface Pro 4. You can see all specifications in the following picture.
The Lenovo Yoga 900 will probably be available from the end of October. Prices will start at 1400 dollars for the cheapest version of the Lenovo Yoga 900.
