Microsoft is expected to present the Lumia 650 next year. It is likely to be announced between January and February. The phone will be “positioned as a low-cost business device for companies” (Source: Windows Central).
We already saw the Lumia 650 on leaks earlier. Now Windows Central has published new renders of the Lumia which are based on internal Microsoft slides of the phone. The Lumia 650 looks amazing. In my opinion it is the best designed Lumia ever. The renders show a nice 5″ device with a metal frame. I hope that the final design of the device will be very similar to these renders.
Furthermore Windows Central is not only showing us these renders but they are also providing some new information about the specifications of the Lumia 650.
- Windows 10 Mobile
- 5 inch 720p display
- 1GB RAM
- 8GB storage (microSD expansion)
- 8MP camera with LED flash
- 5MP front-facing camera
It seems like that the Lumia 650 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 wich features ARM Cortex A7 CPU with a 1.3 GHz CPU and a Adreno 304 GPU. Furthermore the Snapdragon 212 supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0, dual-SIM configurations, NFC and Bluetooth 4.1.
What are your opinions on these renders? Is the Lumia 650 an interesting device for you?
