According to new rumors, Microsoft plans to announce a new Surface All-In-One PC at the end of October at a Microsoft Hardware Event.
We previously reported that Microsoft is working on a Surface All-In-One PC which could come with three different screen sizes (21 inches, 24 inches and 27 inches).
Now, Mary Jo Foley from ZDNet is reporting that a new Surface Product with the code name “Cardinal” is being developed and that this device “could be positioned as a product that can turn your desk into a studio.”
Mary Jo Foley got some other information on the hardware event:
“Last I heard, this Fall rollout might feature minor refreshes of some company’s existing Surface tablets with newer, faster, processors and possibly a couple of other minor feature updates. But brand-new devices like the expected Surface Book 2 and Surface Pro 5 aren’t likely to get their big reveals until Spring 2017. Surface Phone, if it does materialize, could be considerably later, sources say.”
At the event, Microsoft might also present some third-party Windows 10 OEM devices. Furthermore, we might see a Microsoft Band 3. I have heard different rumors on the Band 3. It seems like Microsoft has a Band 3 ready but is not sure yet, whether they are going to show or not. Personally, I would be really excited to see a third generation of the device.
