Today, Microsoft has rolled out an update to Cortana for Android. Now, you can interact with Cortana above the lock screen allowing you to “quickly get answers to your questions, set a reminder and more without having to unlock your device”. This new feature is disabled by default but can be enabled from the settings. Once you turn this feature on, you will see a Cortana button on the lock screen – to access Cortana just slide the button.
Cortana for iOS and Android has only been available in the US, the UK and India in the past. With todays update, Microsoft is expanding Cortana for both iOS and Android to Australian users.
