Since last year, Microsoft Edge is available for iPhones and Android devices. The app is performing quite well. Now it seems like Microsoft is bringing their browser to the iPad too. Sean Lyndersay, a program manager in the Edge team revealed that an iPad version is in internal testing and will be rolled out as a closed beta to Testflight users in the next weeks.
Shh, don't tell anyone, but the iPad version is in internal testing and looking great. It'll take a little longer to bake, so we're going to roll out it to our TestFlight users early next month and get feedback from them before making it widely available. Thanks for using Edge!

While the browser uses the native iOS rendering engine, it offers some unique features especially for Windows 10 users. You will be able to push a web page to your desktop via Continue on PC.
I expect Microsoft to announce an closed beta in early February.
