At the Windows Mixed Reality Event in San Francisco, Microsoft was not only talking about the new Samsung Odyssey headset but also showed some content coming to the Mixed Reality Platform. The Corporate Vice President of Microsoft Studios, Bonnie Ross announced the game Halo: Recruit. While the game is more a VR experience rather than a full game, it is still an interesting introduction to Mixed Reality for all Halo Fans.
Alex Kipman shared some details about Halo: Recruit in a blog post:
On October 17, Halo fans will be able to get their first glimpse of what mixed reality and Halo can feel like. Bonnie Ross, Head of 343 Industries, joined us as a holographic presenter to share details about Halo: Recruit, a fun, brief introduction into the world of Halo – where you’ll see several iconic characters in mixed reality for the very first time.”
At the moment Halo fans still have to wait for a full Halo VR game but with Halo: Recruit, Microsoft is taking the first step into this direction.
